Within 24 hours of its very first release MHC has already been downloaded by a few hundred users. We’d like to thank you for all your interest in the app.
What’s especially interesting is that we’ve got a few ratings on the Android Market, and they really range from 1 star to 5 stars.
With so many different brands and models of Android hardware out there on the market running various versions of the Android platform from 1.1, 1.5, 1.6, 2.0, 2.1 to 2.2, we understand we’re facing a great challenge ensuring the app’s compatibility on all these platforms. Indeed it’d be so much easier if we just target the app at the latest, say Android 2.2 platform.
We thought about all these and we finally decided to take the tough path to make the app available for all platforms so more users could enjoy the app. We want to thank you for those of you who rated us 5 stars on the market, and we also want to thank those of you who run into any technical issues and rated us low. For the latter we would like to ask for a little bit more of your patience as we’re working really hard to resolve your issues.
We do perform rigorous internal testing before releasing the app, but because of the variety of different Android devices out there we really would like to ask all of you to send us your comments and suggestions, be it positive or negative. If you run into any sort of problems, please do let us know your hardware (brand & model) and software (Android version number, stock or rooted) platforms. We take all your feedback seriously and we’ll be updating the app very frequently for good.
